Needy Streamer Overload!
Needy Streamer Overload, initially released in Japan as Needy Girl Overdose, and commonly abbriviated as NSO, is a 2022 management simulator / visual novel created by WSS playground and xemono. It follows the main character, Ame, and the player, P-Chan, as they attempt to get Ame 1 million followers on a streaming platform before 30 days are up. The game has MANY endings based on factors like Ame's affection and stress levels, as well as her follower count.

My experience with Needy Streamer Overload!
I first played NSO over the course of about a week in 2023. I found it while looking into games similar to DDLC, and thought the poster art was so adorable that I HAD to play it. I found that the game hit extra close to home for me as someone who both grew up on the internet, and as someone with mental health issues.

Why I love Needy Streamer Overload!
The first thing that made me fall in love with NSO is the art style. I LOVE the artwork for this game. It's both adorable and, when it needs to be, unsettling. All of the official art and merch looks SO beautiful and full of love and care. I also love the way Needy Streamer Overload discusses mental health issues and screen addiction so well. As an artist, I relate a lot to Ame in the sense that I have to create content to promote my music, and that I have to find a balance between caring for myself and attempting to turn my creativity into a career. I think this game did an amazing job of portraying that, and the internet in general, realistically and honestly. I also just love Ame as a character. She's such a fun concept, while also being portrayed as serious when she needs to be. She's easy to relate to and empathize with. Overall, I think NSO is such a wild, fun, emotional game, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the space to handle its themes.
