ellie grace lewis was born on july 7th in corvallis, oregon, usa to scarlett and dylan lewis. her parents were negligent towards her throughout her entire childhood, and she moved out and across the country to new york to persue a career as an author at 18. she met amy and stella not long after moving, and introduced them to each other. however, she soon realized that she loved stella, and stella started cheating on amy with her. stella didnt really love ellie the same way though, and cheating with her was more of a manipulation tactic towards amy. not long after amy and stella broke up, ellie and stella also stopped seeing each other. ellie would publish her first book, a poetry collection, not long after. despite the quality of the book, it failed commercially. that wouldnt keep ellie from writing, though. she continued writing poems as well as stories, and started posting them to a blog online, where more people would discover her work.
