april rose adams was born on september 9th in albany, new york to nora and kaleb adams. april learned piano at a very young age, and started producing her own music on her family computer around 13. around this age, she met paige online, and they quickly grew very close. when they were sixteen, april started producing songs for her. april's family was extremely supportive of her interest in music, and many of her family members also played instruments or were musicians. at 18 years old, april moved out of her childhood home and really started her career in music production. around this time, she met her girlfriend, claire cole, and met paige in person for the first time. after meeting claire, april came out as a lesbian to her family, who were incredibly supportive. when april was 19, she was diagnosed with pots. she'd struggled with symptoms since she was around 12 years old, but never thought much of it until it'd started to worsen. after paige's album, pretty hurts, was released when april was 20, she really took off as a producer, working on music for many other artists. she also continued working with paige on all of her future work. april started learning guitar, both acoustic and electric, around this time, and began writing her own songs. she never released any, but she would play them for her friends and family, as well as for her girlfriend.
