ellie joined 4:YOU! at 14 after auditioning. she became close with stella shortly after joining, and stella quickly became obsessive towards her. ellie noticed this not long after their friendship began. she became very uncomfortable and tried to express this to her. however, stella would only get worse after this. ellie tried to bring this up to their company, but they ignored her completely due to stella's family's connections in the industry. ellie and stella were often shipped by fans, which made ellie extremely uncomfortable due to what was happening behind the scenes. the company tried to profit off of the shipping by creating merchandise of ellie and stella together. however, they wouldnt allow any of the girls to come out publicly. ellie terminated her contract and left the group when she was eighteen.
