About the album
Angel Cake was written over the course of a year, and recorded within the span of a few months. It centers around my experiences with teenage girlhood, and discusses topics such as disordered eating, racism + racial identity, and mental health. I wrote the whole thing alone on my guitar. I'm incredibly proud of this project, and so excited to share it with you ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ
